Somdej Phra Pae Phan, B.E. 2516 (1973)
Somdej Phra Pae Phan, mixed with minerals, iron, honey,
and relics.
Created by Luang Phor Pae of Wat Phikun Thong, Sing Buri.
This amulet was made in 2516 B.E. (1973) and is ranked
as one of the most collectible amulets in the Luang Phor
Pae lineage. The number of amulets created was limited.
Thisรุ่น (edition) was contemporary with Luang Phor Guay
of Wat Ban Kae, Luang Phor Thong of Wat Phra Prang (a
senior disciple of Luang Phor Pae), Luang Phor Jey
Issaro of Wat Huay, Luang Phor Juan of Wat Nong Sum,
Luang Pu Puddha Thavaro, etc. For every amulet Luang
Phor Pae made, he would have Luang Phor Guay of Wat Ban
Kae be the first to bless them. Luang Phor Sri
instructed Luang Phor Pae that Guay was his
representative and could help him with any questions
about incantations, numerology, or meditation.
Therefore, Luang Phor Pae held Luang Phor Guay in high
esteem because he never boasted. (Ajarn Pluk) The abbot
of Wat Huai, Luang Pho Pae, magically transformed
incense sticks into Siamese fighting fish. He instructed
Luang Pho Kuay to give him the incantation for
consecrating incense sticks, specifically the letter
"P". Therefore, there is no doubt that Luang Pho Pae's
amulets are imbued with supreme Buddhist power. He is a
master monk whose amulets are imbued with the power of
meditation and incantations passed down through
generations, from the deity of the Noi River basin.
Their power is beyond description, as evidenced by the
experiences of those who miraculously survived
near-death situations. This wasn't due to luck or fate,
but rather the blessings of the Buddha, Dharma, and
Sangha. A brief biography: Phra Thammamuni
Sutthasilachar (Luang Pho Pae Khemangkaro, P.D. 4),
whose original name was Pae Chaimankong, was born on
Monday, the 7th day of the 2nd lunar month, in the Year
of the Snake, corresponding to January 1st, 1905, at Ban
Suan Kluai, Village No. 8, Thon Samo Subdistrict, Tha
Chang District, Sing Buri Province. His parents were Mr.
Thien and Mrs. Nai Chaimankong. He had four siblings,
and he was the youngest child. He was ordained on April
21, 1926, at Wat Mai Phikun Thong, Thon Samo Subdistrict,
Phrom Buri District, Sing Buri Province. His preceptor
was Phra Mongkol Thipyamuni, abbot of Wat Chakrawat
Ratchawas; his karma-vachariya was Phra Khru Sitthidet
of Wat Chana Songkhram; and his anusasana-acharya was
Chao Athikan On, abbot of Wat Mae Thong, Sing Buri
Province. He received the monastic name "Khemangkaro."
Throughout his time as a monk, he consistently performed
good deeds, contributing significantly to
administration, education, social welfare, and public
service. In 1996, he was granted a special
ecclesiastical rank as Phra Dhammamuni, a high-ranking
monk, on the occasion of His Majesty the King's 50th
anniversary of his reign. He passed away on February 10,
1999, at the age of 94, having been a monk for 67 years.
